While it is commonly recognized that the script used to write Korean is Han’gul, it is less widely known that Han’gul was only used for about one-third of the 1,500-year span in which Korean was written. This course reflects the latest research achievements in the field and delves into topics such as the use of “idu” and “kugyŏl” and the transformation of Han’gul writing after its creation. |
